Cheerful and efficient staff serving the drinks and good value decent quality food on a reasonably busy Sunday lunchtime. Well worth stopping off at this place.
Sorry for the low rating as food was pretty nice. However, service was slow with staff chatting amongst themselves rather than checking with customers. Only 6 others in the restaurant for lunch but still had to track the staff down to order.
Waited to meet with someone here on a weekday lunchtime. Nice cosy atmosphere. Friendly, efficient staff. Food and drinks very good. Dropped a star because very late opening up -11:45am rather than 11am as advertised. I could see staff inside but was left hanging outside. They could have let me in or told me to come back later, or put a note on the door if unable to open.
Christmas dinner perfect. Food hot and tasty. Staff wonderful. Nobody rushed us. Best meal ever will be back...next time I'm in u.k.
Family lunch with daughter and grandchildren. Staff quite amazing, attentive without intrusion.Meals(roasts) delicious, just a shame they weren't hot enough so vegetables in particular went really cold very quickly.I would have given 5* if the food had been hot.It didn't put us off though...
